About Me

I am passionate about all aspects of pregnancy, birth and motherhood and genuinely love helping in whatever way is suited to you as a parent. I can give you and your partner the information, education and most importantly the gentle support (along with a few tricks of the trade!) you need surrounding your birth and postnatal period. Helping, not replacing your partner to participate in your baby's birth to the degree he/she wishes is not only a great experience for you both but can also help with initial bonding with your precious new baby.
I believe that offering each family evidenced based information, alongside personal and compassionate care is so important as you begin your journey into parenthood.
Hi I’m Sarah, mum to two amazing children who have steered me away from my previous life as a teacher, to now working with parents at such a special time in their life’s through my work as a doula.
With my own two births covering quite a broad spectrum from induction and caesarean to home water birth (VBAC), I am passionate about helping woman have the birth they choose, whatever that may look like.
Qualifications and other relevant achievements:

I am a qualified Birth Bliss doula and registered with Doula UK. Whilst I am undergoing my Doula UK recognition I am classed as a 'mentored doula', which means I have to complete reflective assignments and I have the support of a highly experienced mentor whose brain I can pick if needed. This is a bonus for you as whilst undergoing my recognition I am offering a large discount on my packages so do get in touch.
